Every day, 24/7 to the threat of social networks, there are nearly 246 million of children and adolescents who are victims of threats, insults or other types of cyber-bullying.
These aggressive and intentional acts are repeated against a victim in the form of electronic communication.
But we must finally understand that cyber-bullying is an attack on the dignity of others.
From the morning, during classes, until the evening, in bed, some people are constantly being intimidated, insulted, mocked or rumored about. For example, in France, 40% of students confess to have been victims of online aggression or nastiness.
The digital area in which we live today perverts the weak-minded among us. Because of that and a bad use of the social networks our an abuse of digital platforms are responsible for 50% of suicides among young teenagers.
Cyber-bullying has serious and direct consequences for the health and mental well-being of victims.
This is why we are asking parents, teachers, the State but especially you who are reading, to wake up ! It is only you who can change all these difficult situations today, by transmitting values on the internet.
You have an important role to play. We are counting on you !

This article is interesting, in particular because I think we aren't aware enough of the statistics. Most of the people tell themself "it's juste the others, it won't ever be me", until it's them. In a society where we're glued to our cellphones, the cyber bullying is one of the worst way to use social media, and there's not enough countermeasure in my opinion. Thank you for doing this article.
